Review: White Mansion Boutique Hotel "One reason not to miss Phnom Penh"

During our trip to Cambodia we were suppose to skip Phnom Penh due to our cramped up itinerary, good thing we did not skip the beautiful city since if not we wont get to know one of the best hotel I've ever stayed at (No pun intended), even my cousins who were with me when I stayed there expressed that this hotel was also on their top choice.

It all started when I was checking the reviews at tripadvisor.com and I came upon seeing this hotel on its list, at that time and I think they we're on the 3rd spot out of the 168 hotels throughout Phnom Penh

I booked 2 rooms using their website and with the help of their ongoing promo code at Tripadvisor, We managed to get 2 junior suite rooms after the reservation I had contacted them for a request to give us a room on the same floor and beside each other and they replied promptly on the same day giving us a postive assurance of our request. Rooms are really nice and comfortable (LCD  television with cable channels, free bottled water, canned softdrinks, canned tonic water, tea, coffee (ALL for free!), and add to that high quality pillows &  memory foam for the beds).

Check the shots using my phone, sorry if the shots were to crappy.

Sorry I sat on the bed prior to this shot
All employees were very courteous and helpful even upon arriving from a long walk or just strolling around the city, the security and hotel staff makes it a point to help if you are carrying something heavy. It really made the stay very much worth, the free wifi was also good and does not disconnect after a certain time, add to that a fancy looking mansion that really tends to make guests feel classy, as for the location it is accessible via tuktuk or taxi just present the business card that has a Khmer translation to the driver. Cant comment on the spa service since we have not utilize it during our stay.

On our day of check out they made us a wonderful take out breakfast box since we will be leaving the hotel early to catch our bus going to Siem Reap, I ask the cafe staff to add up additional sausages and bacon to my box and I was really impressed with the serving and the quality of food!

Its also worth mentioning that the hotel has only 30 rooms and suites which means that they tend to give a more personalized service than other chain hotels.

    1. Yup, at first I was quite hesitant to visit PP since alot of tourists go straight to Siem Reap if they'll arrive from HCMC, Vietnam, pero it was a surprise that our short trip to PP really made a big impression from the hotel, warm people, and the expense, if you have enough days to your trip make it a point to visit the city.
